Tchaouna Open To Bologna Move As Transfer Window Nears End

Lazio's young winger, Loum Tchaouna, is reportedly considering a move to Bologna as the January transfer window enters its final stretch. The France U-21 international, who joined Lazio from Salernitana last summer, has struggled for consistent playing time under coach Marco Baroni this season.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Bologna are actively seeking attacking reinforcements following Riccardo Orsolini's injury and have identified Tchaouna as a key target to bolster their squad. Initial discussions between the two clubs have taken place, exploring both a loan move and a potential permanent transfer.

Tchaouna's openness to the switch stems from his limited opportunities at Lazio, where he has featured in 15 Serie A matches, accumulating just 423 minutes and scoring one goal. However, he has displayed glimpses of his potential in the Europa League, contributing one goal and one assist in seven appearances.

Lazio now face an important decision regarding Tchaouna's future. They must weigh the benefits of keeping a promising talent against the opportunity to make other signings. If they agree to his departure, it could pave the way for potential moves, including Chelsea’s Cesare Casadei and Strasbourg’s Abakar Sylla.
