In a recent interview with Il Messaggero, Lazio president Claudio Lotito shared his perspective on the club's future and his commitment to its core principles.

"I have no intention of selling. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I plan to pass the club on to my son," Lotito affirmed. He further elaborated, "I’m also against bringing in external funds since their focus is solely on maximizing profits. Football, however, should serve a moral and educational purpose above all."

Lotito emphasized that his leadership extends beyond economic and sporting goals, aiming to instill respect for values and rules among young people. "My wife Cristina and I are actively involved in social initiatives, making investments that aren’t just about financial gains," he explained.

This philosophy is evident in his new Academy project, designed to support families and create a close-knit community within Formello. "I’m funding this entirely with my own resources, without relying on loans or leases," Lotito added.

On the player front, Lotito addressed recent speculation about Nicolò Rovella, who has reportedly drawn interest from Premier League giants like Manchester City and Arsenal, with a potential offer of €40 million mentioned. Firm in his stance, Lotito stated, "Rovella is not for sale, and we’ve never received an offer. It’s natural for our players to attract attention from top clubs, but he remains a key part of our project."

Lotito’s unwavering dedication to Lazio reflects his commitment to both the club’s heritage and its future, grounded in values that transcend the sport.
