Lazio's Midfielder Toma Bašić Draws Real Valladolid And Getafe Interest
Following the Rome derby, there may be developments on the transfer front for Claudio Lotito's Lazio. Akpa Akpro has officially joined Monza on loan until June, when his contract will expire, while Hysaj has drawn interest from Lecce. However, another departure appears imminent.
Toma Bašić was recently included in the derby squad due to a midfield injury crisis, but his future at Lazio remains uncertain. The player is not considered a part of the club's long-term plans.
Bašić's agent is expected to meet with Lazio management in Formello to discuss his client’s situation. According to Di Marzio, the midfielder has attracted interest from two La Liga clubs, Getafe and Real Valladolid.
Getafe, in particular, are eager to strengthen their midfield for the second half of the season and has identified Bašić as a potential reinforcement. The Spanish club are exploring a loan deal during the winter transfer window, but the final decision lies with Lazio.
