Lazio Face Challenge With Key Absences Ahead Of Como Clash After Intense Derby Loss To Roma

The match at the Stadio Olimpico between Roma and Lazio was a heated encounter marked by numerous fouls. Roma secured an early two-goal lead, ultimately defeating their city rivals. Lazio leaves the derby with plenty to reflect on as they prepare for their next challenge against Fabregas' Como on Friday night.  

Lazio coach Marco Baroni faces significant lineup challenges for the upcoming match against the Lombard side. Captain Zaccagni will be unavailable after receiving a yellow card during the derby, which rules him out for Friday’s game.  

Additionally, Mario Gila, who was booked in the 32nd minute for a late tackle on Paulo Dybala, reached his fifth yellow card of the season, also earning him a suspension for the next match.  

To make matters worse, Castellanos will also miss the Como clash after being sent off late in the derby for unsportsmanlike behavior. His suspension might extend beyond just the match against Como, potentially sidelining him for the following game against Verona as well, pending the decision of the sports judge.
