Cremonese Submit Official Bid For Toma Basic, But The Midfielder Resists Move

Amid the ongoing Casadei saga, Bologna’s pursuit of Tchaouna, and the alternative plan involving Fabian, Lazio are also managing the departures of players no longer in the squad. This morning, fresh reports emerged about Monza’s interest in Gaetano Castrovilli, while since yesterday, rumors have linked Toma Basic with a potential move to Cremonese. This latest development is now shaping new possibilities.  

Cremonese have officially approached Lazio, expressing interest in the Croatian midfielder, who has fallen out of favor in the Biancoceleste squad. The Serie B side have shown a greater willingness to cover a portion of Basic’s wages compared to Hajduk Split, another club keen on signing him, positioning themselves as the frontrunners to secure his services for coach Giovanni Stroppa.  

However, according to the latest update from Alfredo Pedullà, Basic is currently rejecting the move to Cremonese. The situation remains in flux, with Lazio and Cremonese awaiting further developments, but the player’s stance is proving to be a decisive factor in the negotiations.
