Lazio Face Injury Setbacks Ahead Of Crucial Clash Against Atalanta

After their victory in Lecce, Lazio are now gearing up for a crucial home match against Atalanta on Saturday. However, the visitors are likely to be without Retegui. Lazio, on the other hand, face challenges with injuries in their squad: Pedro and Noslin picked up issues during Saturday's game and have already undergone medical tests at Villa Mafalda.

Noslin was seen on crutches yesterday, potentially due to a sprained ankle. Tests conducted in Puglia ruled out fractures, but further examinations are needed to confirm the injury's severity. Similarly, Pedro is dealing with a flexor muscle issue. The Spaniard, who delivered the decisive cross for Marusic’s goal, might have suffered a strain that could sideline him for key matches against Atalanta and Roma.

Lazio have also issued an official statement on the condition of both players:

- Pedro Rodriguez Ledesma: Tests revealed a low-grade lesion in the semimembranosus muscle of his right thigh, sustained during the Lecce match. He has started targeted treatment and will be monitored daily.

- Tijjani Noslin: Diagnosed with a medium-serious contusive sprain in his right ankle. He has also begun specific treatment and will undergo daily evaluations.

The medical updates underline Lazio's injury concerns as they prepare for the upcoming challenges. Adding to Lazio's troubles, Vecino remains unavailable until February, heightening the need for reinforcements during the winter transfer window.
