[Official] Baroni Awarded Serie A Coach Of The Month For October
The Serie A League have recognized the dedication and hard work shown at Lazio’s Formello training center by awarding Marco Baroni the Coach of the Month for October. As announced on the League’s official website, Baroni earned this honor after leading Lazio to three wins and just one narrow loss against Juventus, a game in which Lazio played with a numerical disadvantage for over an hour before conceding an unfortunate own goal by Gila.
The League’s statement reads:
"The Philadelphia Coach of the Month award for October goes to Lazio’s Marco Baroni. The trophy will be presented before the Lazio-Cagliari match, set for Monday, November 4, 2024, at 8:45 pm at Rome's 'Olimpico' stadium."
The award was determined by a jury of sports newspaper directors, who evaluated the coaches based on technical achievements, quality of play, and fair play throughout matchdays 7 to 10 of the Serie A Enilive 2024/2025 season.
Lega Serie A CEO Luigi De Siervo commented, “After a successful season with Hellas Verona, Marco Baroni is now reaching new heights with Lazio, following solid seasons with Benevento and Lecce. His journey has shaped him into a tactically adept, adaptable, and practical coach, excelling by combining opponent analysis, player communication, and diligent effort. His work is clearly reflected in Lazio’s performance, as they now occupy a Champions League spot, a testament to the club’s smart decision in appointing him.”
