September 19, 2024

Taty Castellanos has had an impressive start to the season, scoring three goals in four matches. His strong performances on the field also earned him a call-up to the Argentina national team. However, during the second half of the game against Verona, Castellanos felt discomfort in his left adductor and decided to leave the pitch early. Yesterday, he underwent tests at Villa Mafalda to assess the injury.

Following these examinations, Lazio released an update on his condition. Castellanos has been diagnosed with edema due to muscle overload in the adductors of his left thigh. Below are the details.

"The medical staff of S.S. Lazio announces that the footballer Valentin Castellanos underwent clinical and instrumental tests today at the Villa Mafalda Clinic. These tests revealed an edema from muscular overload affecting the adductors of the left thigh. The footballer has already started the specific treatment of the case and will be subjected to daily clinical monitoring. Further instrumental tests will be repeated in the coming days to clarify the recovery times".
