The Lazio vs AC Milan clash in the Italian Serie A at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome was intense and ended in a draw.
Lazio attempted to score early in the first half but couldn't find the net. Instead, AC Milan struck first. Starhinja Pavlovic headed in a corner from Christian Pulisic, giving Milan a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute.
Lazio pushed hard to equalize, but Mattia Zacagni and his teammates couldn't break through Milan's defense. By halftime, Milan still led 1-0, but they couldn't extend their advantage.
In the second half, Lazio ramped up their offensive efforts and put more pressure on Milan, who struggled to create chances.
In the 62nd minute, Lazio leveled the score at 1-1 with a goal from Valentin Castellanos, thanks to a quick counterattack and well-executed passing.
Just four minutes later, Lazio took the lead. Boulaye Dia scored to make it 2-1.
However, Milan quickly responded to Lazio's two quick goals. Rafael Leao, who had just come on in the 70th minute, scored in the 72nd minute to equalize at 2-2, with an assist from another substitute, Tammy Abraham.
The match ended in a 2-2 draw. Lazio now has four points from three matches, while Milan has two points from three matches.
