Lazio Supporters Continue In Protests Against Lotito At Season Opener Match Against Venezia

The protest at Lazio persists: following the massive demonstration in June, the fans continued their dissent during the team's season opener against Venezia.

The protest, reaffirmed recently through a statement from the Curva Nord, was evident right from the start. Before the match, the 40,000 Biancoceleste supporters chanted in unison against president Lotito, continuing the summer-long protests. This discontent was also expressed during a mid-June march from Flaminio to Ponte Milvio, where numerous banners were displayed across Rome and beyond, highlighting the dissatisfaction of Lazio fans. Even as the match got underway, the fans' displeasure remained clear, with their focus often directed at the club's management.

Despite their frustrations with the club's handling of the summer transfer window and the departure of key players, the Biancoceleste fans continued to vocally support the team on the pitch during the Lazio-Venezia match. However, protest chants against Lotito were still prominent. The fans made their voices heard, with a banner raised from the Curva Nord reading: "You can't understand... if you're not a fan like us," underscoring their ongoing protest against the president.
