Lazio Reject Juventus' Milik Offer, Focus on Signing Boulaye Dia

Lazio have reportedly turned down an offer to sign Juventus' out-of-favor striker Arkadiusz Milik, who had been presented to the club as an option. The Aquile are undergoing a significant squad overhaul following the exit of several key players and the appointment of new coach Marco Baroni.

Similarly, Juventus are also undergoing major changes, having brought in Thiago Motta as their new coach and subsequently releasing several first-team stars, including Federico Chiesa.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, the 30-year-old was recently offered to Lazio. However, Lazio quickly declined the opportunity to sign Milik, with club president Claudio Lotito and sporting director Angelo Fabiano preferring to focus on securing Boulaye Dia instead.

The Senegalese forward has been a transfer target for Lazio since the beginning of the summer, and the club is now intensifying efforts to bring him in. Talks with Salernitana are ongoing, and fans are eager to see the 27-year-old return after a period of exile, especially given his recent strong performances in the Coppa Italia.

As for Milik, this isn't the first time he's been linked with a move to the Italian capital. Last summer, Maurizio Sarri expressed interest in reuniting with his former Napoli player, but Juventus opted to make Milik's move permanent after his loan spell ended.
