Lazio Eye Another 2005-born Talent, Antonio Nusa, As A Potential Recruit
Lazio are reportedly interested in signing Club Brugge's young talent Antonio Nusa during this summer's transfer window. Marco Baroni's team has been keeping an eye on the player's development for a while.
Lazio have added Antonio Nusa, a Club Brugge youngster born in 2005, to their list of potential recruits. Club president Claudio Lotito recently expressed a desire to bring in young players, and Nusa is a candidate monitored by sporting director Angelo Fabiani, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
Nusa, a 19-year-old Norwegian of Nigerian descent, started his career at Stabaek before joining Club Brugge in 2021. He was a regular for the Belgian club last season, with three goals and three assists in 30 league appearances.
Nusa's contract with Brugge runs until June 2027, and the club is reportedly asking for €20 million, though the price is negotiable. Primarily a left winger, Nusa can also play as a right winger or second striker.
Born in Langhus, Nusa has represented Norway at all youth levels and made his senior debut in September 2023, earning seven caps and scoring one goal.
Lazio are also targeting other 2005-born players, including Barcelona's Vitor Roque, Real Betis' Assane Diao, and Sunderland's Jobe Bellingham.
