[Friendly] Cadiz - Lazio = 0 - 1
Lazio wrapped up their summer tour with a narrow 1-0 win over Cadiz at Spain's Stadio Nuevo Mirandilla. The Italian capital's new signings stood out during the match.
Coach Marco Baroni opted for a 4-3-3 formation, featuring key players like Taty Castellanos, Gustav Isaksen, and club captain Mattia Zaccagni on the wings. Lazio had a slow start against Cadiz, a second-division Spanish side, who created a few opportunities in the first half but failed to trouble goalkeeper Ivan Provedel.
On the other hand, Lazio managed only one significant chance in the first half. Gaetano Castrovili set up Isaksen in the box, but the Swedish forward's shot lacked the power to beat goalkeeper David Gil.
After halftime, Baroni made a substitution that proved decisive. The Aquile's play became more fluid, with summer signings Tijjani Noslin, Loum Tchaouna, and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru making the most notable contributions.
In the 71st minute, Tchaouna received a pass from Noslin at the near post from a short corner. The Dutchman's header found the back of the net, giving Lazio the lead. After the match, the Aquile celebrated by lifting the giant Trofeo Carranza.
