[Official] Saarbrücken Secure Young Midfielder Sardo From Lazio On A Free Transfer

Following a significant season, one of Sanderra's Lazio key players is leaving the capital. Jacopo Sardo, the young midfielder, is heading to Germany to join Saarbrücken, a Bayer Leverkusen affiliate.

The 2005-born midfielder has completed his medical tests and signed a two-year contract with the German C1 Club. His departure on a free transfer comes after lengthy negotiations with Lazio failed to secure a contract renewal.

"I want to thank Saarbrücken for their confidence in me and I am eager to achieve the club's sporting goals with the team in this fantastic stadium. Playing in front of these amazing fans will make me feel at home. My aim is to contribute to the team's victories and grow together. Go Go Saarbrücken!"

Sardo's adventure in Germany will begin soon, with his debut match potentially featuring a Lazio connection. Saarbrücken's season officially kicks off on August 18 in the German Cup against Nuremberg, led by former Lazio player Miro Klose.
