[Official] Martusciello Resigned From Lazio And Become Salernitana's New Head Coach

Giovanni Martusciello is ready to embark on his own venture. After years of supporting Sarri at Empoli, Juventus, and most recently at Lazio, the long-time assistant coach is set to begin his second solo coaching journey.

Recently, Salernitana approached Martusciello with an offer to take over the Granata bench following Sottil's unexpected departure and Fofana's failed arrival. Martusciello eagerly embraced this opportunity and entered into negotiations. Within a few days, the parties reached an agreement, and he has now officially left Lazio. 

The coach, who stayed with the Biancoceleste club after Maurizio Sarri's departure, resigned to join Salernitana. Lazio confirmed his decision through a post on X, stating: "Giovanni Martusciello has resigned from his position. Good luck, mister!"
