[Official] Lazio Schedule Another Friendly Against Cádiz For The Carranza Trophy

Cádiz CF, supported by the City and Provincial Councils, has revealed the poster for this summer's single-match Trophy, scheduled for the night of August 10.

In 2024, another Italian team will feature in the Ramón de Carranza Trophy's 70th edition, just like in the summer of 2023. Last year, Cádiz CF played against US Lecce and won their tenth cup after a penalty goal, thanks to David Gil. This year, their opponent will be SS Lazio.

Following their away game against Southampton, Lazio will travel to Spain to compete for the Carranza Trophy against Cádiz on August 10 at Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla, the home ground of the Andalusian club. This isn’t Lazio's first time in the event; previously, Eriksson's team faced Betis but were defeated.

The Carranza Trophy, often dubbed the Trophy of Trophies, now has its poster and date set for Saturday, August 10, around nine at night (the exact time is yet to be confirmed). With an aim to create a lively atmosphere at Nuevo Mirandilla a week before the league opener against Real Zaragoza, nearly 17,000 subscribers who have already renewed their seats can purchase tickets for 2 euros starting July 23.
