[Official] Greenwood Signs With Marseille For Five Years From Manchester United

The chance of seeing Mason Greenwood in a Lazio shirt has vanished, as Marseille has officially signed Greenwood.

After weeks of speculation and rumors, Mason Greenwood will join OM next season under coach Roberto De Zerbi, who was keen to have the forward on his team.

Marseille's official announcement states:

"Olympique de Marseille are pleased to announce the signing of Mason Greenwood from Manchester United. The 22-year-old striker joined the club after successfully passing a medical."

The French club agreed to pay €31.6 million for the forward, who has signed a five-year contract.

Additionally, Manchester United included a significant sell-on clause in the deal, reportedly between 40 and 50 percent.
