[Official] Como Sign Reina On A Free Transfer

Como 1907 have announced the signing of former Lazio and Napoli goalkeeper, Pepe Reina, on a free transfer.

The 41-year-old Reina spent the last two seasons at Villarreal, with his contract expiring in June.

Reina has signed with Como until June 2025. Como's coach, Cesc Fabregas, believes Reina's experience will be invaluable for the team, which has just been promoted to Serie A.

Reina has previous experience in Italy, having played for Napoli for four years and Lazio for two.

After joining Como 1907, Reina expressed his enthusiasm for the club's project and his readiness to contribute to the team.

"I'm returning to a league that I know well and that is very competitive. I want to help in the development of this club," said Reina.
