[Official] Adamonis Moved To Catania Permanently From Lazio


Marius Adamonis has been announced as the new goalkeeper for Catania. After spending a year on loan at Perugia and impressing in Serie C, the Lithuanian goalkeeper returned to his home club but quickly moved to Sicily. As of yesterday, Catania officially confirmed his permanent transfer, with Adamonis signing a contract with the club that will last until June 30, 2026.


In an official statement, Catania Football Club declared:


“Catania Football Club is pleased to announce the permanent acquisition of Marius Adamonis from Lazio Sports Club. Adamonis has signed a multi-year contract, effective from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2026, with an option for the 2026/2027 season.”


To bid farewell to Lazio, Adamonis chose to express his gratitude on social media, posting an Instagram story that read: "Though our paths have diverged, my love for the team is eternal. The experience has been invaluable, and the people have been wonderful. Thank you for everything, SFL.”
