Lazio Strengthen Their Scouting Team With Arrival Of Giancarlo Romairone

Lazio's new arrivals aren't limited to footballers; they also extend to other sectors, such as the scouting department. Giancarlo Romairone, who recently concluded his contract with Triestina in January, will now join Lazio's scouting team under the guidance of technical director Angelo Fabiani. This opportunity marks a fresh start for Romairone, who previously managed Carpi, ChievoVerona, and Bari.

Romairone and Lazio had initial discussions several months ago in Turin during the Juventus-Lazio match. After a period of waiting, everything seems set for his integration. The former sporting director has already signed his contract with the Biancoceleste club.

Born in 1970, Romairone transitioned into management and scouting after a career as a forward for clubs like Modena, Andria, Alessandria, Massese, and Lodigiani. His extensive background includes roles at Chievo, Carpi, Spezia, Pro Vercelli, Bari, and Triestina. Now, he looks forward to starting a new chapter in Rome, where he will join Lazio's team and focus on discovering new talent day by day.
