[Friendly] Lazio - Trapani = 3 - 1

Baroni's Lazio secured their second victory by defeating Trapani 3-1. Castellanos scored twice, and Noslin added another goal for the Biancoceleste. The only downside was Nuno Tavares leaving the pitch after less than 30 minutes of play.

Baroni employs a flexible approach with adaptable players and a variable game system. After the first week of training and a month before their official debut against Venezia, the initial signs are clear. Hierarchies are forming, but no one has a guaranteed position. Versatile players like Noslin, Dele-Bashiru, and Castrovilli, the fifth new signing to join the team at the training camp along with Zaccagni, have been brought in. This allows the new coach to adjust his tactics based on the situation, marking a break from the past under more conservative coaches like Sarri and Tudor. This was evident in the friendly against Trapani, where the team started with a 4-2-3-1 formation and shifted to 4-3-3 in possession. Baroni plans to experiment further, with the only constant being a four-man defense.

The Biancoceleste triumphed 3-1, with the spotlight on the two center forwards tasked with filling Immobile's shoes. Castellanos scored twice in the first 20 minutes, and Noslin, who replaced him in the second half, added a third goal. Tavares had an unfortunate debut, leaving the field injured after less than 30 minutes. In the first two friendlies of the training camp, Baroni rotated Dele-Bashiru, Pedro, and Guendouzi in the attacking midfield, highlighting the need for one final quality reinforcement for Lazio.
