[Official] Luis Alberto Has Left Lazio And Signed For Al-Duhail

Lazio has officially sold Luis Alberto to the Qatari club Al-Duhail. The Spanish midfielder had publicly requested a move on live television, stating that his career with the Italian capital club was over after eight years.

Although Lazio had been waiting for a 20 million Euro offer, they finalized Alberto's transfer to Al-Duhail on Tuesday (11/06) for 10 million Euros plus bonuses, as reported by Football-Italia.

The report mentions that Alberto underwent a medical test at the Qatari club last week. As part of his previous transfer to Lazio for 4 million Euros in the summer of 2016, his former club Liverpool will receive 12 percent of the sale, amounting to 1.2 million Euros.

Al-Duhail has agreed on personal terms with Alberto, signing a contract until 2027 with an annual salary of 8 million Euros plus bonuses.

During his time at Lazio, the Spanish midfielder scored 52 goals in 307 appearances, winning two Italian Super Cups and one Coppa Italia trophy.
