[Official] Lazio And Mizuno Reveal A Symbolic New Home Jersey For 2024/2025

Amid the turmoil at Lazio caused by Biancoceleste fans protesting against president Claudio Lotito, the club and Mizuno have revealed the new Home jersey for the 2024/2025 season.

The Biancoceleste club has released a video showcasing the "home" kit on their social media channels, featuring Mario Gila and Christos Mandas. The second and third shirts will be revealed in the coming weeks. The home uniform maintains its traditional design, much to the delight of Biancoceleste fans. Supporters have already noticed some details, such as the raised SS Lazio inscription on the chest and sides.

The primary color remains sky blue, but this season's jersey features more intricate details, starting with the tone-on-tone "S.S. Lazio" inscription repeated in an all-over pattern. The most notable and unexpected detail is found on the back neck, where a Japanese ideogram inspired by the phrase "One Faith, One Passion" is featured. The "S.S. Lazio" inscription, both regular and inverted, is woven into a geometric pattern that pays homage to the club's 1980s look. The Lazio crest is positioned over the heart, with the Mizuno logo on the left, linking it to the ideogram. Navy blue accents adorn the collar and cuffs.

The jersey holds deep symbolism for Lazio as they aim to secure crucial victories on the field. The club is entering a challenging season of rebuilding after the departure of Luis Alberto, the last member of a historic squad, to Al Duhail. Strong performances could help quell the skepticism among Biancoceleste fans, and the club hopes the new jersey will be well-received.
