Cristobal Munoz Is Set To Join Lazio From Barcelona And Will Be Evaluated At Auronzo Di Cadore's Training Camp

At Lazio, we focus not only on the present but also on the future. The club, particularly sporting director Angelo Fabiani, is reportedly on the verge of finalizing a deal to bolster Sanderra's team and potentially add depth to Baroni's squad. The player in question is Cristobal Munoz, an attacking midfielder set to be released from Barcelona on June 30 and likely to sign his first contract with Lazio. Munoz, a Spanish talent born in 2005, will benefit from the changes in the Primavera championship, which will transition to Under 20 from next season, enabling him to participate in the young Eagles' fixtures while also serving as a backup for the First Team.

The 19-year-old midfielder hails from the Barcelona academy but has opted not to renew his contract, making him a free agent by the end of this month. Originally from Almeria, he has been with Barcelona since 2017 and inked his first professional contract in 2021.

With parental consent and the player's agreement already secured, Munoz is expected to arrive in Rome for contract signing and medical examinations before joining Baroni's squad in Auronzo di Cadore. There, he will undergo an assessment by the new Biancoceleste coach and his coaching staff.
