Sarri: "In 2-3 Years, I Will Stop And Focus On Helping My Community And The People Who Deserve It For What They Have Done Over The Years."
Maurizio Sarri speaks out for the first time since resigning as Lazio coach.
At an event supporting the mayoral candidacy in his hometown, Sarri discussed his future following his tenure at Lazio. It’s worth noting that Bologna has shown interest in Sarri for the post-Motta period. Sarri mentioned that he is considering retirement but might have one more job in football left.
When asked about his future, Sarri said, "Now I'm going to have lunch with my dad. In 2-3 years, I will stop and focus on helping my community and the people who deserve it for what they have done over the years."
"I am deeply connected to Figline. I grew up there, played in the Figline youth team, and spent five years in the first team. I owe a lot to those who supported me, including coaches and everyone who was part of my career."
"Recently, I watched a local Under-12 training session and saw genuine football. I returned home feeling happy."
