Lazio Want To Strengthen Their Midfield For The Upcoming Season By Pursuing Either Empoli's Fazzini Or Chelsea's Casadei
Lazio is keeping a close eye on Cesare Casadei, a talented player from Chelsea, as well as Jacopo Fazzini, a midfielder from Empoli. Typically, the team from the Italian capital takes a more reserved approach in the January transfer market, as they have not made any new signings in the past three weeks. However, they have recently loaned out Toma Basic to Salernitana. Additionally, there is a possibility that Daichi Kamada may depart during the current season, as Galatasaray is showing interest in acquiring his services.
At present, Lazio is actively searching for a midfielder who can contribute to their midfield depth, presenting an ideal chance to recruit a young player who can grow and thrive under the guidance of coach Maurizio Sarri.
Alfredo Pedulla has disclosed that Lazio has expressed interest in acquiring either Casadei from Chelsea or Fazzini from Empoli, as both players are believed to be well-suited for Maurizio Sarri's team.
After his loan was terminated prematurely, Casadei has recently come back from his loan spell at Leicester City, while Empoli is determined to retain Fazzini in their efforts to steer clear of relegation this season.
