Lazio Rejected Galatasaray's Offer For Kamada, Thus The Turkish Club Switched To Another Target
Galatasaray's attempt to attract Japanese midfielder Daichi Kamada in the January transfer window falls significantly short of Lazio's demands. Consequently, they have decided to redirect their attention towards alternative prospects.
According to reports from Calciomercato.it, Galatasaray has allegedly submitted a proposal to acquire midfielder Daichi Kamada for only half of Lazio's requested amount of 10 million Euros. The Turkish club's current offer of 5 million Euros falls significantly short of The Aquile's asking price.
If the two clubs fail to make any substantial progress, Galatasaray will redirect their attention towards alternative targets, including Christian Eriksen, the midfielder from Manchester United.
Last summer, the Biancoceleste acquired the services of the Japanese international player through a free transfer after his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt came to an end and no new agreement was reached with the Bundesliga club. A one-year contract was signed, with the possibility of extending it for an additional three years.
Before moving to Olimpico, he conducted talks with Milan, Inter, and Roma. However, the 27-year-old midfielder failed to impress in Rome and was dropped from Maurizio Sarri's team. This season, he made 22 appearances, largely from the bench, scoring one goal and providing one assist in Serie A games.
