Ferrari Has Been Offered To Lazio As A Backup If Gila Decides To Move Elsewhere
At 23 years old, Gila is eager for more playing time and seeks space to showcase his abilities. Currently, he is one of the few players on the team, along with Sepe and Mandas, who has yet to gain any playing time. Gila desires continuity in his career and hopes to find opportunities to demonstrate his skills on the field.
During the previous year, the Spaniard was able to establish himself in the cups. However, this season, despite his participation in the championship and the Champions League, he has yet to make an appearance on the field. Fortunately, this situation will be remedied in January. The former Real Madrid player's agents are actively searching for a resolution to this predicament. Various Spanish clubs, including Granada, Celta Vigo, Las Palmas, and Alaves, have expressed interest. In the summer, Espanyol attempted to secure his services.
Although Gila had been associated with Verona in Italy, he is still a potential candidate to watch. Lazio paid a sum of slightly over 6 million for the center-back, which ensures that Real receives 50% of any future resales. As a result, it would be unwise to sell Gila outright, as it would lead to a loss in capital. However, it is expected that the former Real Castilla player will be loaned out to find room and possibly improve himself.
If Gila leaves, Lazio will look for a successor. Sarri, who currently has two right-footed defenders in his team Patric and Casale, would prefer to add a left-footed player. Gian Marco Ferrari of Sassuolo, born in 1992, whose contract ends next June, has just resurfaced.
Ferrari has been proposed to Lazio as well as other Serie A clubs. Furthermore, if the renewal with the Neroverdi does not materialize, departing in January is not out of the question. Quite the contrary. Ferrari is a left-footed player who has worked with De Zerbi and Dionisi to interpret the line in similar ways to Sarri and has a modest salary of less than one million euros.
Ferrari is a name proposed to Fabiani and Lotito; he is assisted by Federico Pastorello; for the time being, there is no significant proof of Lazio's interest; we shall see later. Sarri would retain Gila with him, but respects the player's desire to go elsewhere: if a solid situation arose for the Spaniard, Lazio would seek a replacement.
