Lotito: "I'm Delighted With How Well The New Arrivals Have Integrated."
After achieving three back-to-back victories in the Champions League and Serie A, Claudio Lotito, the President of Lazio, expressed his contentment with the performance of the new players he had recruited last summer. This success serves as evidence of his decision being the right one.
After a rough beginning, Lazio has managed to reverse their fortunes by emerging victorious in three of their last four Serie A games. The club located in the Italian capital underwent a challenging summer period as Claudio Lotito and Maurizio Sarri deliberated over which players to acquire.
As per the latest statement released by Il Messaggero, the President has made a decision and is sticking to it.
Lotito commented, "I'm delighted with how well the new arrivals have integrated, and it's great to see the fans showing growing appreciation for our activities during the previous transfer window."
"After reportedly hearing about the matter, it appears that there are no feelings of remorse for failing to bring on board Domenico Berardi following the match against Sassuolo, as well as for Piotr Zielinski during the Napoli game and Samuel Ricci during the Torino match."
The Biancoceleste emerged victorious in three of these games, as the new recruits displayed impressive performances. The club's president also expressed his backing for Taty Castellanos, who has been delivering exceptional performances. Although coach Maurizio Sarri had considered Antonio Sanabria, who was more familiar with Serie A.
As a result of securing three consecutive wins, the Aquile have climbed up to the ninth position in the league standings. They are now gearing up to take on Feyenoord in the upcoming Champions League group stage match scheduled for Wednesday evening on October 25th, local time.
