Due To Injuries, Zaccagni And Provedel Were Forced To Withdraw From The Italy Squad

During the international break in October, Luciano Spalletti made the decision not to include any players from Lazio in the Italian national team. This decision was based on a combination of player injuries and the decision of the coach.

Coach Luciano Spalletti called upon 5 players from Lazio last month to enhance the Italian national team. Conversely, during this upcoming international break in October, none of Maurizio Sarri's players will be included.

In preparation for the upcoming European championships in the summer of next year, the previous coach of Napoli is currently engaged in the process of selecting his favored team. The final rounds of qualification for Italy will be taking place during the October break, with matches against both Malta and England.

According to LaLazioSiamoNoi, it has been disclosed that none of the five Lazio players are included in the Italy squad during this international break. Due to injuries, Immobile, Provedel, and Zaccagni were not named in the list, and Spalletti chose not to invite Casale and Romagnoli. It should be noted that Provedel and Zaccagni had already been summoned before their injuries occurred.

The goalkeeper was knocked out due to a blow to the hip from the recent intense match against Atalanta,  while the winger left the play against Bergamo with an ankle injury that was wrapped. As a result, this was the reason why neither of them responded to Spalletti's call.

Meanwhile, when asked about it, Maurizio Sarri seemed unconcerned, maintaining that the circumstance would provide the players an opportunity for a short break following a hectic start to the season.
