Romagnoli Is In Doubt In The Upcoming Match Between Milan And Lazio
According to Sky Sport, there is no positive news emerging from Lazio. It has been reported that Alessio Romagnoli, the previous captain of Rossoneri, may not be able to participate in the upcoming match between Milan and Lazio on Saturday evening.
During yesterday's match against Torino, Romagnoli experienced a compound fracture of his nasal bones after colliding with Duvan Zapata. Although he continued to play, the defender was examined at the Paideia clinic today and his progress will be closely monitored in the coming hours. The expectation is that he will be able to return to the field this Saturday at San Siro to play against Milan using a protective mask.
Below is the statement from the Biancoceleste club:
"The medical team of S.S. Lazio had conducted clinical and instrumental examinations on football player Alessio Romagnoli at Paideia International Hospital. The tests confirmed that Romagnoli had sustained a compound fracture of his nasal bones as a result of an injury sustained during his most recent game. Currently, the player is receiving specialized treatment and will be closely monitored by the Lazio Lab daily."
