Lazio Is Said To Be In Talks With Valeri About A Possible Transfer Next Season
According to sources, Lazio has entered into talks with Cremonese's full-back Emanuele Valeri regarding a possible transfer for the upcoming season. These discussions have reportedly resulted in an agreement between both parties concerning the player's demands. Valeri has expressed his desire to transfer to Olimpico, and Lazio appears to be considering his request.
Despite receiving multiple offers, Emanuele Valeri has expressed his preference to remain with Cremonese during the summer. He has his heart set on joining his childhood club, Lazio, on a free transfer. As a result of this situation, he has been frozen, even though his contract is set to expire in 2024.
As per the news divulged by Corriere dello Sport, it has been disclosed that there is a significant agreement between the two parties for the transfer of the manager. Provided that the prerequisites are met, the team managed by Maurizio Sarri will be able to acquire the services of the defender in the upcoming January market.
Before acquiring Valeri, the Biancoceleste will conduct a thorough evaluation of their current roster's performances. In the summer, they re-signed Luca Pellegrini, who arrived from Juventus on a two-year loan deal with a purchase option.
Elseid Hysaj and Adam Marusic, who are both under contract until 2025, can also play left back. Last summer, a Saudi Arabian team expressed interest in recruiting Marusic. Meanwhile, Manuel Lazzari shone on the right side of The Aquile's defense when they chose to go with a more offensive shape. He has a deal with the team until 2027.
Valeri, meanwhile, has two goals and three assists in 37 games for Cremonese in the 2022/23 season.
