[Official] Isaksen Has Arrived In Rome To Complete His Transfer To Lazio
Gustav Isaksen, the latest addition to Lazio's summer signings, has officially arrived in the capital city. Coming after Castellanos and Kamada, Isaksen landed at Fiumicino airport at 11.30 pm, having flown in from Frankfurt. The Danish winger, who was born in 2001, was acquired from Midtjylland for a reported fee of approximately 14-15 million, inclusive of fixed payments and potential bonuses. Isaksen will now undergo medical examinations, scheduled for tomorrow morning at Paideia, before finalizing his contract with Lazio. The immense support of Lazio fans was evident, as hundreds gathered at Fiumicino airport to welcome Isaksen.
Meanwhile, Lazio has released both a photo and a video capturing the initial words uttered by the Danish player. With an eagle's scarf draped around his neck, the striker proclaimed, "Ciao, Forza Lazio." These words were impressively spoken in fluent Italian, despite it being his first few minutes in the country.
As reported by Calciomercato.com, Isaksen is prepared to finalize a five-year agreement that includes an annual net salary of approximately 1.5 million euros. Gustav Isaksen will be the seventh Danish player in Biancoceleste's history. And he is anticipated to compete for a starting spot against Felipe Anderson, Mattia Zaccagni, and Pedro.
