Lazio Have Accepted Empoli's Loan Offer For Cancellieri

After a prolonged period of negotiation, the process was expedited significantly in the past few days due to Lazio's newfound willingness to transfer temporarily instead of permanently. All that remains is the official announcement, but it can be confirmed that Matteo Cancellieri will soon be joining Empoli as a new player.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the transfer of the attacking winger born in 2002 will take place through a loan that comes with a fee of one million euros, with the option for redemption set at 12 million euros. Lazio has the right to redeem the player by paying Empoli the amount of 14 million euros. Furthermore, Lazio will also cover a portion of the young striker's salary.

Tonight, Cancellieri is expected to arrive in Empoli, where he will undergo medical examinations and sign a contract with the Tuscan club for the upcoming season. This is scheduled to take place between tomorrow and the day after.
