Lotito Provides 60 Million Euros To Lazio's Current Transfer Market Budget

Claudio Lotito, the president of Lazio, has allegedly allocated a specific budget for transfers within his club for the upcoming summer. The team led by Maurizio Sarri has identified several players as potential targets to enhance the overall strength and depth of their squad for the upcoming season.

Lazio had a commendable performance in the previous season, securing a spot in the Champions League after securing second place. However, their progress has been hindered by the dearth of robust alternatives available on the substitutes' bench.

Up until now, The Aquile has not taken any notable actions. However, this week they decided to sell their esteemed midfielder, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, to Al-Hilal, resulting in a lucrative transfer fee of approximately €42 million.

According to the report from Il Messaggero, Lotito has allocated a budget of €60M for Lazio's expenditures in the upcoming summer transfer window. The objective is to acquire a total of 5 or 6 new players for the team.

The need to allocate a significant budget stems from the numerous expenses associated with transfers, such as commissions and other related costs. At the same time, Lazio has several crucial positions to address during the upcoming summer transfer window, including securing a backup striker, finding a substitute for Milinkovic-Savic, and acquiring a competent right winger.

Several players have been discussed, and the transaction might be completed in the following weeks.  It is believed that fresh players will be brought in shortly and will be able to train with Maurizio Sarri's squad during pre-season.
