Lazio Is Looking For Ricci And Will Contact Torino In The Coming Weeks

Lazio has expressed interest in acquiring the services of Torino midfielder Samuele Ricci during the upcoming summer transfer window. However, it is anticipated that convincing Torino to part ways with one of their key players will prove to be a formidable challenge.

According to reports, Lazio has identified the acquisition of a new midfielder as a top priority for the upcoming season to provide support for Danilo Cataldi, given that previous options such as Marcos Antonio have not met the expected standards. For that reason, Lazio is expressing interest in acquiring the services of Torino midfielder, Samuele Ricci.

Over the past few weeks, the club from the capital of Italy has been evaluating various midfielders, including Gedson Fernandes and Lucas Torreira. However, no steps have been taken to acquire their services at this point. With the impending departure of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer, the team is now in need of new midfield players.

As stated by Gianluca Di Marzio, it has been disclosed that Maurizio Sarri expresses a desire for Biancoceleste to secure the services of Ricci during the upcoming summer transfer window. Sarri firmly believes that the midfielder from Granata will seamlessly integrate into his squad.

However, the Granata don't want to lose the 21-year-old, whose contract runs until 2026,  and will make every effort to keep him.

The Aquile are looking at signing him and may contact the Granata in the next weeks. Last season Ricci had two goals and one assist in 28 matches in Serie A.
