[Friendly] Lazio - Primorje = 5 - 0 (Auronzo Di Cadore: Day 9 Report)

In preparation for the upcoming 2023/2024 Italian Serie A season, the Biancoceleste team is participating in their second friendly match against Primorje.

Lazio vs Primorje friendly match is played at the Rodolfo Zandegiacomo Stadium in Auronzo in Cadore, Italy, Thursday (20/7/2023) at 18.00 local time.

ND Primorje is no stranger to Lazio. Last year, this Slovenian club also faced off against Lazio in a friendly match to kick off the season. The outcome of the match was a resounding victory for Lazio, with a score of 4-0.

At present, Lazio finds itself in a situation where they have not made any new signings. As a result, they are depending on the same group of players from last season, along with several individuals from their academy.

Everything was easy for the Biancoceleste who took to the field with a starting eleven who are practically the starting lineup.  

Maurizio Sarri's Lazio secured their second friendly victory as they triumphed over Primorje with a resounding scoreline of 5-0. The Biancoceleste dominated the first half, notching up an impressive 3-0 lead with goals from Pedro, Immobile, and Felipe Anderson. In the second half, they strategically rotated their lineup to maintain their advantage. Mattia Zaccagni opened the scoring in the second half with a penalty kick, and Diego Gonzalez, a promising Paraguayan attacker, completed the victory.
