Cuadrado Was Rumored With Lazio, Sarri Turned Him Down
According to reports, Maurizio Sarri has allegedly requested that Lazio refrains from acquiring the services of Juan Cuadrado, a prominent player for Juventus. Despite recent rumors connecting the Colombian winger with the Italian capital club, Sarri has expressed his desire for Lazio to not pursue this potential transfer.
Despite recent rumors suggesting that Lazio may be interested in acquiring the services of Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado, it appears that their head coach, Sarri has shown minimal interest in pursuing such a signing for his club.
Cuadrado had expressed his desire to prolong his tenure with Juventus; however, the Bianconeri decided to not offer him a new contract. Consequently, he will be departing the Allianz Stadium, concluding his nearly ten-year affiliation with the club.
Even though Juventus no longer considers Cuadrado to be a suitable player for their team, he still has the potential to make a valuable impact at other Serie A clubs that may be interested in acquiring his services. There have been previous reports suggesting that Biancoceleste has expressed their interest in signing him.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the most recent update indicates that Sarri has decided to prioritize the recruitment of younger players. As a result, he has no intention of pursuing the services of the former Fiorentina player. Cuadrado will now look at other choices to prolong his football career as his time in Turin comes to an end.
Meanwhile, the Italian capital club is desperate for a new winger this summer and has been linked with numerous players including Domenico Berardi, Riccardo Orsolini, and players from outside Serie A. However, they have yet to bring in a single new player to Olimpico.
