Auronzo Di Cadore: Day 3 Report
Lazio's training camp in Auronzo di Cadore is now on its third day. The team, under the guidance of coach Maurizio Sarri, is diligently working on their preparations for the upcoming season.
Morning session: 10.00 am
The fifth training session for Lazio takes place at the Auronzo di Cadore retreat. The goalkeepers are the first to step onto the main field, while the midfielders and forwards gather on the adjacent green lawn. Among them is the team captain, Ciro Immobile, who arrived with Hysaj the previous evening. The tactical exercises commence with the offensive players and then transition to the defenders. There are some brief moments of concern when Patric is brought down by a tackle, but thankfully, it is nothing serious and he quickly recovers to continue the session. Following the training, the players will resume their work at 17:45.
Afternoon session: 5.45 pm
As the third day of the retreat enters its afternoon session, the team commences a tactical exercise on the adjacent field to the main one. Following that, the players were divided into two groups and began a quick ball recovery exercise, which was followed by a practice match.
Red (4-3-3): Marusic (Floriani), Ruggeri (Dutu), Casale, Fares; Bertini (Akpa Akpro), Marcos Antonio, Basic; Felipe Anderson, Immobile, Pedro.
Blue (4-3-3): Lazzari, Patric, Romagnoli, Hysaj; Vecino, Cataldi, Luis Alberto; Sana, Diego Gonzalez, Zaccagni.
A few nervous moments for Lazzari, who was tackled and fell heavily on his hand. Nothing severe happened to the full-back, who returned to play the game after being treated with ice. Sarri is busy offering clues on the non-possession phase as training concludes with further tactical work.
