Lazio's Pre-Season Friendly Match Against Juventus Has Been Canceled
The summer programs for Lazio have changed, as reported by Radiosei. The friendly match that was scheduled with Juventus, which was supposed to be the final game before the start of the season (sometime between the 13th and 14th of August with the location yet to be defined), has been canceled. The decision to cancel the match was made to allow for additional training time in Formello.
At the moment this is the only change: in Auronzo the friendly will open on July 16 with the classic match against the local team, followed by a match against Primorje on the 20th, and then a match against Triestina on the 23rd. Finally, the retreat will be concluded with a friendly match against Nogometni Klub Bravo on the 27th.
After this first phase, the team will head back to Formello Sports Center before embarking on a tour of Europe. The squad led by Sarri will face the two most prestigious friendlies of their summer: first, a match against Aston Villa on August 3rd, and lastly (although the official confirmation is still pending), the Gamper trophy match against Barcelona on either August 8th or 9th. The team will then return to the Formello Sports Center to prepare for the start of Serie A.
