[Serie A] Lazio Vs Lecce Preview

Lazio had been placed second in Serie A for up to seven weeks. But now, Maurizio Sarri's Lazio team is in danger of being eliminated from the Champions League zone.

The Biancoceleste are experiencing their worst period of the season after losing three of the last four matches.

After losing 1-0 to Torino and 4-1 to Inter Milan, Lazio had a chance to rebound by defeating Sassuolo 2-0.  But they were defeated 2-0 by AC Milan in their most recent match.

As a result, Sarri's team has dropped to third position with 64 points from 34 games.

Inter Milan, who were only one point behind them, threatened to overtake them. AC Milan whose in fifth place is also threatening with only three points difference.

So, after two seasons of absence, Lazio must instantly get up if they want to experience the atmosphere of the Champions League. To do so, they must defeat Lecce in Serie A Week 35 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Lazio is also expected to play confidently considering the visiting team's unimpressive away record. Lecce has lost five straight away games, scoring only one goal.
