[Official] Lazio Will Play Against Inter In The Next Season Super Coppa Italia Semi Finals

Lazio is officially one of the four teams competing in the upcoming Italian Super Cup after defeating Cremonese 3-2. Because, under the new system, there will be four teams on the starting line of the event, including Maurizio Sarri's club.

The new formula for the trophy, which is intended for the winners of the Scudetto and Coppa Italia (Napoli & Inter), will lead to the addition of these two teams to the trophy's list of participants, the runner-up of the Italian cup (Fiorentina) and the second position in Serie A. With Lazio being mathematically in the top three and with Inter having already qualified via the Italian Cup, it will be the Biancoceleste who participate in the fourth and final participant of the Super Coppa trophy regardless of their final position.

In the following Super Coppa, Lazio will play Inter in the semifinals, the winners of the Italian Cup, as well as Napoli and Fiorentina on the other side. For Lazio, therefore, it is a complete celebration: after qualifying for the next Champions League, the Capital City club will be able to compete for another prestigious trophy.
