Lazio Gives An Emotional Farewell To Radu In The Last Home Game At The Stadio Olimpico

At the Olimpico last night, there was a celebration for the 10th anniversary of May 26th, for the qualifying position in the Champions League, and the tribute to Stefan Radu that will retire at the end of this season.

Maurizio Sarri sent the Romanian defender into the game in the 90th minute, when the supporters of the club in Rome "exploded".

Emotional messages were sent by Lazio fans to Stefan Radu during his final game for the club. The supporters displayed a dedicated message on one of the banners that were emotional in regards to the Romanian footballer, while 60,000 spectators chanted Ștefan Radu's name.

"15 years of fighting with the eagle on the chest. A fighter, one of us. Ștefan Radu, Lazio for life", was one of the banners displayed by Lazio supporters.

In the end, overwhelmed by emotions, Ștefan Radu burst into tears. The Romanian footballer finished the game with the captain's armband on his arm, and his teammates from Lazio carried him in their arms.

Moreover, the president came down from the stands to embrace the Romanian defender. Applause for all, a day to remember.
