Empoli Is In Talks With Lazio To Buy Akpa Akpro Permanently

Lazio can now consider the upcoming transfer market after qualifying for the next Champions League. Even when there are many issues to resolve.  Among these is Jean Daniel Akpa-Akpro, who Empoli could acquire.

Akpa Akpro was one of the purchases made by the Biancoceleste club to compete in the last Champions League.  The former Salernitana midfielder joined Lazio and made an early impact in Europe, scoring against Borussia Dortmund on matchday one.

Now, a few years have passed, and his future is no longer among the greatest of Europe, but instead, he is now settled in Empoli, where he has found a comfortable home on loan from the Capital Club.  As a result, the information reported by La Nazione suggests that the Tuscans club is likely to purchase him permanently. The Aquile should not deviate from a beneficial offer.

The 30-year-old Ivorian international has participated in 22 games in the Serie A with Empoli this season.  Akpa Akpro recorded a goal and gave an assist to the Tuscans club, which impressed them.
