The president of Lazio, Claudio Lotito, reportedly has great expectations of the club and believes that the Scudetto is not impossible for the team to achieve soon. At this time, Sarri's team, currently in second place in the Serie A table
Claudio Lotito is reported to have large ambitions for Lazio, including a championship in the Serie A. The Italian capital club has experienced steady growth since the summer of 2021 when Sarri was hired, they overhauled the squad and built a new core of Italian players in the capital.
The results of this hard work have been proven with Biancoceleste currently occupying second place in the league and having a strong chance of qualifying for the Champions League. Additional funding is expected this summer to augment Sarri's squad depth and strengthen the team.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lotito hopes for The Aquile to win the Scudetto in the coming years since he believes in Sarri's idea of being able to win the league with the proper players.
Despite finishing in the top four, The Aquile must still maintain their financial health, but Lotito is hopeful that numerous new players can help Sarri's squad compete for the scudetto in the Italian top flight.
