Uribe Reportedly Wants To Move To Lazio Next Season But Sarri Is Still Waiting For The Milinkovic-Savic And Luis Alberto Situation First
Porto's midfielder Mateus Uribe is reportedly interested in signing for Lazio and has already begun to reject offers from other clubs, however, Maurizio Sarri prefers to wait before approving the club's decision to sign him.
The good news was received in the pursuit of Porto's Mateus Uribe, the player is said to want to move to the capital because of the interest they have in him.
The 32-year-old Colombian has a contract with Porto that will expire next year, as a result, he is free to sign a new one with another club. Several clubs in Europe are reportedly attempting to acquire him, including Olympique Marseille, Atletico Madrid, and Lazio.
The Aquile hopes to secure a place in the Champions League zone in the final standings of Serie A this season to provide additional income for them to spend on players in the next summer market, allowing the club to continue to develop Maurizio Sarri's project in the Italian capital.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Uribe has decided that he wants to join Biancoceleste and has turned down offers from other clubs, notably Marseille.
However, Sarri has requested that transfer talks for the midfielder be put on hold for the time being because he wants to see which midfielders depart and which stay this summer. The Italian coach regards Uribe highly and would welcome his services if a spot were available.
