Romero Is Considering Changing Agents As He Still Wants To Play For Lazio
Discussions regarding a new contract between Lazio and Luka Romero are said to be unsuccessful due to the high agent fee. However, a change of agent is said to have helped push for an agreement between the two parties.
Luka Romero is in the middle of a contract negotiation with Lazio that has been ongoing for some time, but so far, there has been little progress made. The 18-year-old Argentine striker has become a popular young player in the Sarri coaching staff this season and has been given the opportunity by the coach. He scored the decisive goal in the 1-0 victory over Monza last November, this was the only goal of the game.
His contract is due to expire in three months, the Aquile was eager to tie him to a new contract, however, his agent, Fali Ramadani, caused the negotiations to stall because he wanted a 5 Million Euros commission.
Recent reports, as reported by Il Messaggero, reveal that Luka Romero wants to remain with Lazio and is considering hiring a new agent to assist in signing a new contract with the club.
If Ramadani does not accept The Aquile's final offer for his commission, which is 1 million Euros based on goals, he may be replaced by the young player. Romero, like his teammates, is currently attempting to help Maurizio Sarri's team finish Serie A in the top four and qualify for the Champions League next season.
