Lazio Reportedly Sends Scouts To Observe Barcelona's Marc Casado
Lazio is reportedly following the progress of Marc Casado, a young midfielder from Barcelona with great potential, closely. The Italian capital's scouting team has sent their staff to observe the player in person.
Despite whether Lazio can retain Sergej Milinkovic-Savic or not, the Italian capital team will have to improve their midfield's depth next season.
The Biancoceleste have been involved in numerous transfer rumors, the most recent of which was Marc Casado's transfer from Barcelona, they sent a scout to observe the game against Logrones as reported by Diario AS.
The midfielder, who is just 19 years old, has often been compared to Sergio Busquet and is still under contract until June 2024, but the club is still hesitant to extend his contract. Several clubs in La Liga are reportedly interested in his services. He debuted for the club in the first team in a match against Viktoria Plzen last November.
The coach is currently hoping to study the prospective players they are recruiting before giving their approval. Even though no significant progress has been made in terms of a contract extension, the club remains hopeful that Milinkovic-Savic will reconsider and stay if they qualify for the Champions League next season.
