Lazio And Milan Are Competing For Baldanzi's Signature
Lazio is reportedly ready to compete with Milan for the services of the midfielder from Empoli, Tommaso Baldanzi, in the upcoming transfer market. The Italian capital club is prepared to be left by one of their star midfielders, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic at the end of this season.
Lazio is reportedly pursuing a deal to sign Empoli's Tommaso Baldanzi, but the club will have to fight for his signature against other clubs like Milan. Maurizio Sarri's side is planning to release star midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in the summer and realizing that some new signings are needed, the coach has informed the club of the areas that they should improve.
One player who has impressed Sarri is Baldanzi who has scored four goals in 22 appearances in his first full season with the first team of Empoli. The 20-year-old has become one of the most promising prospects in Italian football, the Aquile club also recognizes this.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Biancoceleste are currently on the lookout for Baldanzi at Sarri's request but will face stiff competition from other clubs, including Milan, who are seeking Brahim Diaz and Charles De Ketelaere's replacement.
Meanwhile, Empoli has set a transfer fee for the midfielder in the area of 15 to 20 million Euros, a reasonable fee for The Aquile if they succeed in securing a ticket to the Champions League.
