Pellegrini Succeeded In Convincing Sarri And Lazio To Make His Transfer Permanent Next Season

Lazio reportedly has decided on Luca Pellegrini's future. The Italian capital club intends to continue providing the service longer than originally planned, this will not only end during this season.

Last January, Luca Pellegrini exited his Eintracht Frankfurt loan to return to his native Italy and accept a contract with Lazio.  The full-back who is 24 years old is excited to be joining the club he supported as a child but has only played 69 minutes since moving to Lazio.

Despite his lack of playing time, The Aquile is reportedly impressed with his performance and hopes he can continue serving as the full-time defender as requested by Maurizio Sarri.

Reports from Il Tempo indicate that it is revealed that the Biancoceleste want Pellegrini on a permanent transfer next summer but will ask Juventus to give them a discount.

The Italian capital club has the option to buy the player for a transfer fee of 15 million euros, which can be paid in installments over five years, but president Claudio Lotito deemed this amount too high.

Pellegrini joined the Bianconeri in a controversial deal that also saw Leonardo Spinazzola join Roma. After moving to Turin, the left-back spent the majority of his time on loan, only appearing for them during the 2021/22 season.
